OK. I admit it. I really love watching makeover shows. I think I just love watching someone have the opportunity to see themselves in a whole different light. It’s great to see the new confidence it gives them. I have one giant pet peeve about these shows though. Why is it that anytime a woman with curly hair is on one of these shows they blow dry it straight?! I have nothing against straight hair but my hair is curly and I love it. Why should being stylish mean that my hair has to be straight. Curly hair is beautiful and stylish too. I give you exhibits 1-4. Yes, I am exhibit 1.

Generally, by the time you are real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.
